AUTONOMOUS DRIVING
The Eletre's LiDAR system scans 200 metres around the car in every direction, generating a sophisticated 3D map of the surroundings to detect obstacles even in low light or inclement weather. The forward-facing telephoto camera can see up to 500 metres in front of the Eletre. The additional wide-angle lens, 4 side cameras, and rear sensor provide full 360° coverage.

BUILT TO THRILL
Lotus is using ‘Unreal Engine’ technology from the gaming industry, allowing the Lotus User Experience / User Interface (UX/UI) team to create next-generation real-time 3D content and experiences. The Eletre boasts state-of-the-art processing power which includes two Qualcomm 8155 automotive cockpit digital platforms.
A next-generation digital head unit from global mobility tech company ECARX will debut on the Eletre. It reconfigures the user’s in-car experience by providing fully customisable displays, hosted on an advanced Driver Information Module (DIM), and advanced ultra-slim floating touchscreen with one billion colours for more realistic graphics and a more futuristic visual effect.
The platform includes ECARX’s first dual-chip system to enable server-level computing power for rapid processing, an immersive multi-screen user experience and capacity for continuous improvement during the lifetime of the car via future Over-The-Air (OTA) updates.

The 23-speaker, 2160W soundsystem is engineered by KEF for a truly immersive in-car audio experience. Jewellery-grade stainless steel and plasticised metals ensure that every control element is luxuriously durable. The carbon fibre panels are crafted with a unique sateen weave construction, maintaining a sporty yet refined visual profile.
The High Definition OLED central screen works in tandem with the digital passenger display. The Eletre operating system is future-proof by design, and functionality will be added via over-the-air-updates.
